CADPIPE HVAC 9.0 Hot Fix for AutoCAD 2009

Product: HVAC

Problem: an AutoCAD bug causes AutoCAD 2009 to crash when Lining and/or Vanes are OFF (which means they are drawn invisible) and if the affected fitting is picked to get the grip points.

Who is affected: CADPIPE HVAC users who have updated to AutoCAD 2009 and are either: a) using a revision prior to 9.0 SP3, or b) opening a drawing with fittings created on a version prior to 9.0 SP3 will need to apply this hotfix.

How to Fix: Follow these steps. . .

1. Update to CADPIPE HVAC 9.0 Service Pack 3.

2. Download and install the proper Hot fix File (32-bit or 64-bit) located below.

3. Execute the "Update All Hidden Line Items" command from the CPTools menu, located on the "Edit Dig'd Items For..." submenu on all fittings created on a CADPIPE version prior to HVAC 9.0 SP3.

Please note: You are able to use a selection set to update multiple fittings, but caution should be taken in updating too many items at once, as the operation is highly memory intensive.
