CADPIPE Commercial Pipe 10.1 Release Notes

Enhancements:

New: Reducing Elbows are drawn as Solids.

New: Added BOM formatting utility allowing you to set up BOM rows and columns.

New: Upward Waste Pipe Flow. When placing the 1st waste pipe fitting in a run and your pipe flow is flowing upwards, you will be alerted and asked if you want to set your flow downwards.

    New: Added 3D Weld Representations.

New: Under Options, there is a new Tab called Welds. This is where you specify the next weld tag number.  This is also where you can add missing welds or renumber existing welds.

New: Weld Reports are selected from the main Pipe Reports dialog. The on-screen report gives you the Weld Tag and the Position. You can double click on a line to zoom to that weld.

New: Label Reports now have the option to go directly to the drawing using the new BOM formatting utility that is used for Reports. A new dialog box is presented with options, including and option to select a different BOM format file for your labels.

New: Weld Gap Label in Spec Dialog, Change “Connection Size” label to “Weld Gap” on the Specifications Dialog box when in a Welded System.

New: Added Tee Placement Settings (Header or Branch) to the Waste Pipe Branch Dialog box (like the Pressure Pipe Branch Dialog).

New: Query Place Text, Allows the user to place any of the query text that appears in the query list box. To access this, use the “Place Description” button. On that dialog, a new button has been added labeled “Use Selected Text”. You still have the ability to edit the text before you place it.

New: Pipe Insulation. You can now insulate a single piece of pipe, a run of pipe or all pipe of a particular system.

New: Weld Tag Edit. When editing a weld tag and a duplicate exists, you now have the option to “insert” that tag into the line and increment the rest of the tags on that line.

New: Prompt Dialog Box. Current command now appears in the prompt dialog box.

New: Un-Tag BOM. Added a Command to allow you to remove the BOM Tag from an item.

    Bug Fixes:

Fix: CADPIPE Isolate fitting. Fixed the green dot when using a shaded visual style.

Fix: Typed Command Ignored. When tooltips are set to include the fitting layer, if you rolled your cursor over a pipe or fitting and then typed a command on the command line, the command was ignored.

Fix: Equipment. When modifying a piece of equipment, if you missed the pick on selecting the equipment, you would get an unhandled exception.

Fix: Auto-Route to an Elevation. When auto-routing to an elevation with no hub pipe and selecting an angle it didn't go to that angle and deducted the gap between the fittings in the vertical to the final elevation.

Fix: Edit System Change Selected System. After selecting a new system it wasn't changing to the new system

Fix: Insert Aligned. This was a problem with sloped pipe or with non-sloped waste pipe with no hub. In the latter case, the couplings were shifting the fitting.

Fix: Fitting Conversion w/Red Hub Wyes. Any reducing fittings that were converted to mesh from solids or solids to mesh changed the size of the reducing fitting branch to the size of the main line.

Fix: Sloped RLine & Fittings, Sloped routing line. When placing fitting on the routing line (examples: 1/4 bend, combination Y & 1/8 bend) the node of those fittings did not sit on the routing line, preventing you from auto piping between the fittings.
